No one has bothered to leave a review on this course in years so I thought it was about time it deserves one. I can't really think of any superb features of this course other than it is actually quite easy. Going hand in hand with that I can't think of anything that is dreadful either. The best way for me to review it is with some bullet points. The course is very flat (great for me....hate hills). A great place to kill a few hours as is cheap as chips and is very forgiving. A lot of the holes are up and down which helps with being forgiving as you can spray the ball left and right and still find a fairway to play from. It might not be the right fairway, but a fairway never the less. Some of the fairways have bumps and lumps in which can be a real pain. What is the point in nailing a 250 yard drive straight down the middle to finish with a lie with the ball 2 feet above your feet !! You find the odd dog walker about but they don't cause too many problems. For me they could do with charging a bit more for the green fees and spending that money on the greens. They are often quite wooley. I remember playing this course about a year ago and thinking I have played fairways better than these !! Perdiswell does not operate a tee time system which means that you often turn up to a huge queue on the first tee which is annoying. this is especially apparent on a Saturday when you can't tee off before 10.00 as it is reserved times for members only. There are no facilities here either.

Recently upgraded to 18 holes, it is fair to say that 'Perdy's' club is finally in a position to compete with the faithful city's big boys. The 'young pretender' tag can almost be abandoned thanks to vast improvements in the course layout and general upkeep. Nevertheless, two major problems will need to be overcome if this course is to shake off its glorified pitch & putt past and compete with the superior 'Ravensmeadow Golf Club' next door: 1) The greens need to be improved and 2) there needs to be a reduction in the number of 'Bintons' (the local term for those with poor etiquette)on the greens and fairways. 6/10
