Nice first impressions. Very nice fairways, some tree lined, greens in superb conditioned, slightly nice at the beginning then gets quiet. £13 for me since im fourteen, I have a 14 handicap and went round +7. All in all a nice day. (Nice 19th Hole).

Nice course. Well looked after and despite the recent heavy rain, was generally in very good nick. The fairways in particular are worthy of comment - and are better than a lot of greens I've played on recently! There were inevitably some areas that were boggy, but there can't be many courses in the north of England that aren't suffering at the minute. Not too taxing, neither physically nor for my somewhat average golfing ability. The low handicappers might murder it, but the higher ones should be able to walk off feeling happy with themselves. Overall, a nice day out.

Located just outside of York, this is a nice little course that is well presented and well maintained. It may be a little short for some people but I enjoyed my round and would definatly play it again. If you and a friend are taking the ladies to York for a little trip pop down here during the week and for 2 fore 1 it will only cost £13 excellent value for money however, the girs will kill the credit card whilst you are away with all the shops in York. Having played many of the course around York it is not the best but is certainly worth playing - even at the full price of £26 (VFM 10 on 241 but 8 on full price).

A very friendly and helpful staff were on hand to greet and help us on our first visit to this well kept and excellently laid out course just off the A64 at York. Lightning fast greens with many undulations and quite small in size add to the difficulties of this course. A joy to play and the welcome in the clubhouse is second to none (and the beer and food is good too). We are planning an early return and with 2fore1 vouchers it is excellent value.
