Played today. The course is in excellent condition! Fairways lush, rough not too long and grass clippings free, greens fast and very challenging. Shop staff friendly and welcoming, clubhouse staff the same. Had lunch, which I must admit better than average. Bar prices very reasonable. I played well,so all round a good visit. I would encourage golfers to try this gem.

Play many course in the area but this is one of the best golfing challenges. Warm welcome in the club shop. Excellent testing course - not long but very enjoyable. Course was in good condition and greens staff were working hard on the course. Greens in good condition for spring and were fast and true & will be better again after a few weeks good weather. Great value green fee - I will be back in a few weeks to play the course again!

myself and my playing partner played here on a cold and damp monday in october using the £10 for 18 holes and a pint offer and it was well worth the journey. the course is set in 3 seperate sections and i would suggest its a very underated course. some of the par 3s are excellent (2nd and 5th spring to mind immediately) and although i didnt play particularly well on the day i would definately return and play it again, this time in the summer. one hole was on a temp(15th) which the guy in the shop informed me of when i rang up and booked (other courses should take note of his courtesy) but the greens were good even the though the course was very wet! i think the only down side of the day was the fact there wasnt any sort of catering once we finished playing but some of the lady members said that this was always the case on a monday! lost revenue for the club. nice querky course and a one i would most certainly return to. overall 7 out of 10

nice course, friendly staff been a member for 6 months now and still love the course.Quite short but very enjoyable if in area give it a try.

A warm and friendly welcome awaits you. A good course, particularly the original holes. Not very picturesque, but a good short test. Worth a game.
