Richmond (Yorkshire) Golf Club

Played here on Friday 8th April and I have to agree with the other reviews in that the course is very nice. Each hole is unique and well designed. Fairways were well manicured although the greens were quite good and I imagine they would be a delight to putt on in the summer. I can imagine it being a beautiful setting in the summer months and I will certainly return in the summer. The 18th hole requires a little bit of accuracy shall we say! Clubhouse was nice, overlooking the 18th green where I can imagine some golfers cards being wrecked on that hole alone!

Played here on Tuesday 8 June 2010. What a course a real gem indeed. Rained most of day but that was not an issue as the course was well worth the 60 mile trek. Every hole stood out but the killer was no 18 only 15 yards gap to fire through if that to reach green which is par 3 just infront of the clubhouse and the watching punters! a card wrecker I bet. A great day out and one I will certainly make again in the near future.

myself and 3 friends played richmond on tuesday 8th june, 2010. upon arriving at the course you look straight down the 1st and 10th fairways and we knew straight away we were in for a treat. the fairways and tee boxes are manicured to perfection so top marks to all the green staff. every single hole on the golf course is enjoyable and well thought out and the greens were immaculate when we played. i couldnt really say i had a favourite hole as they all stuck out in my mind as being memorable although i did really like the 6th, 7th, 14th and of course the 18th, which is an immense hole when your looking down the funnel of trees to the green right outside the clubhouse! its a course i would love to play again and one of our group said its a course that he would bring our society too. the weather was absolutly shocking (it rained pretty much from start to finish) and my golf was even worse but i still loved every single second of my visit to richmond. superb course, friendly staff and a MUST play if your in the local area! overall rating 9 out of 10.
