Runcorn Golf Club

I've played Runcorn twice, most recently on March 2nd 2012. Firstly I should say that in my experience its a really friendly venue - the staff can't do enough for you and the food is good quality and good value. The course is well kept and well varied. Whilst the majority of the par 4s are reachable it would be wrong not to mention the monster 460 yard 17th - a real test. The whole course is tree-lined and you'll certainly want to avoid being wide off the tee. The greens are generally very interesting and all were open for our recent visit. Whilst they were slightly bobbly I wouldn't be too critical of this in early March - later in the year I'm sure they'll be great. Overall this is certainly a course I'll look forward to revisiting.

we played runcorn in late june, the course was in great condition, the greens were true. There are some interesting holes and some challenging ones. the staff in the clubhouse were very friendly as were the members. All in all it was a great day and we will be going back there.
