Simply a great course, lots of testing holes & bunkers, great condition & greens. Some blind shots and quite hilly, nice mix.
A truly classic course of real character reminding one of Wentworth or Sunningdale. Set in woodland with many stunning holes, undulating fairways and good greens combine to make this course a real challenge. Holes 5, 9, 10, 12, 16 and 17 are beauties. The 17th has a plaque claiming a hole in one in 2006. Not unusual until you realise the hole is 308 yards up hill! All the members we met were charming and the club President took time out to chat to us as well. Excellent value for money. If this course were in Surrey the green fee alone would be £80+. Will definitely return on my next visit to Cheshire.
Superb 'old style' woodland course, excellent greens. Very friendly members and pro shop staff. Looking forward to my next invite.
great course, fantastic greens, if you like golf then play this one.
