Shillinglee Park Golf Club

I regret that this Club has closed down. The Property is now in private ownership and I understand there are plans to build a country house on the land. I adored this Course and spent many happy hours playing here with my son. I went back a few weeks ago to look at it and to enjoy a few bittersweet memories. Sadly the Greens have disappeared into the Fairways and Bunkers seem to have been filled in. Thought you all should know.

Sadly, this course closed in 2003 which has to be a real shame as it was probably one the best 9 holse courses around.

This course was a little gem but has sadly closed down in the past year

I found this course very chalenging and relaxing however it is a shame that the poor drainage makes some of the holes impossible to play during wet weather
