St. Medan Golf Club

Loved it so much joined as a country member. Cant wait to get back up here asap. Uncertain whether to recommend this course, don`t want too many coming up here to spoil it its unique charm. Then thought,I should not prevent others from enjoying it.

Played last week in Aug. Because its only 9 holes keen golfers will have already started to dismiss it. Dont. Its one of the most delightful little courses you may ever play. Absolutely loved the 4th from the gents tee. Dont get distracted by the spectacular view across to the Isle of Man.

One of the most stuning setings for any golf course, tricky 9 hole course, wonderfully set up and in perfect condition, only wish I didn't have to travel 500 miles just to play it, I'll be back though to play this gem.

This course is an absolute gem. Many people travelling in this delightful corner of the country will miss it, as it looks loke a to-short 9 holer from the card, but it is so well worth a visit. From the moment one stands on the elevated tee above the first to the tricky short par 3 9th, it is a real test, and full of character. Friendly staff, course in first class condition, great welcome from the locals, what more do you want? I cannot speak to highly of this course, it will test the long hitter as well as there are a number of holes where they will take a chance, and big danger awaits for anything off line. Go and see it, go and play it, it's fabulous.
