Stratford-on-Avon Golf Club

Quality golf course. Played in June on a lovely day and there can't be too many better places to be. Course was in excellent condition and you wont get too hot and sweaty as its a really easy walk. Greens very quick and very true. Not overly long or particularly difficult but very enjoyable. None of the holes are particularly memorable in them selves, but rather it's the course itself that will stay in the mind. Quality at reasonable price. Friendly club that will try and let you play at weekends if at all possible, although if wearing shorts, you must wear long socks! Recommended.

Played on 29th December 2003 with a society having been promised a course in good condition that does not close often due to weather with excellent greens and we got precisely that. A very friendly welcome and a course in outstanding condition considering the recent weather. The greens were scary quick so I can't imagine them in summer ! A flat parkland course that is an easy walk with a wide variety of holes both long and short. A must for any discerning golfer.
