Sudbrook Moor Golf Club

Sudbook Moor welcomes visitors - no need to phone in advance as apparently they have very few booked tee times. You play and play - arrive very early as I did and you can buy your green fee (take coins) from a ticket machine. The course itself is a lovely nine-holer with some additional greens to make it feel a little more like 18 holes. Everything in superb condition, from the driving range (£1 for 30 balls) to the putting greens and the course itself. Though the course is short, there are plenty of hazards and a couple of wicked dog-legs to negotiate. For the high handicapper like myself there were more than enough challenges to keep me interested.

THIS IS A FANTASTIC 9 HOLE COURSE KEPT IN SUPERB CONDITION BY THE GROUND STAFF UNDER THE DIRECTION OF TIM HUTTON THE OWNER AND EX TOURING PRO. THIS FAMILY RUN FACILITY IS A LITTLE GEM SO KEEP IT TO YOURSELF.
