2 reviews of Sundridge Park Golf Club
I live nearby Sundridge so popped up for a round last week and have to say the layout was enjoyable albeit a little plain. Many holes are treelined and there are some good elevated approach shots but I wouldn't say it was a 5 star golfing experience. Will probably return on a twilight golf package at some point as that is better value for money.
Played the East Course at Sundridge Park on Thursday of last week (9th July) and was very impressed with the general layout, and the condition of the course was superb. Beautiful manicured fairways and the greens were in great condition, as were the tees. Quite a few holes where you really had to think about what type of shot you were going to play from the tee, and whilst not overly tight, you didn't have to be far offline to be "snookered" for your next shot. I am looking forward to returning and playing the course again now that I know what's out there, especially a couple of the holes on the back 9 which bit me on Thursday. I plan to go back and play both courses next time, but the West course looked really hilly in places, so I will plump for a buggie rather than walk! As I say, the course was in superb condition, and the approaches to some greens were in better condition than the greens at my course! The 18th is a tough par 4, playing from an elevated tee to the fairway below but then it all rises to an elevated green which has a really wicked slope back to front. Take plenty of club for that one! I played with a member and the guests green fee of £22.00 was great value for money. Highly recommended.
