A nice course, in good condition.Fairways and greens very good. Not very difficult, but there are a few blind shots to add to the challenge. Our round was VERY slow, caused by 2 blokes aged 122 each who couldn't play and wouldn't let us through. Good value with a county card. Recommended.

Although not very long at 6000 yards it has tight tree lined fairways that force you to be safe rather than aggressive. The fairways were in good condition when we played and the greens were excellent ,rolling well and true. The 4th and the two par 5's stand out but the trickiest of them all is the finishing 18th which is a long pa4 dogleg.

Played here July 10. Average course. Undulating & narrowish.Tree lined. There is no fairway irrigation ,so ,with the summer we're having, the fairways were dry & patchy .Slightly off line tee shots can bounce into the rough & beyond .Thus, i only hit driver 3 times & hit quite a few 4 irons (including on the stroke index 2 hole). On the par 3 13th if you just miss the l/hand side greenside bunker don't expect to find your ball. I also thought this course was dangerous .There are 4 up & down parallel sections & a strange hole crossover at driver length on the first .Twice we had balls come near us & the putting green & even the terrace are very close to the 8/18th double green .On the terrace afterwards someones ball had gone over the putting green & into the car park when coming up the uphill 8th. Greens were good .True & a good pace.Nice sand in the bunkers. The holes here are predominantly straight. There are quite a few fir & poplar trees here which i don't think are the most attractive on a course . The course was very busy with members when we played it midweek . The par 5 12th was an interesting hole & i also liked the short uphill par 3 15th. Allow extra time when driving here as you can only get to the course when travelling in one direction. Kevin B.

A very good course that was in tip top condition when we played it June. Not over long, but quite hilly in places. The greens were true and some of the best i have played on. The club house was not up to the standard of the course and take a change of clothes it you want access to the restuarant.
