I'll start by mentioning the only slight criticism I can level at the place: It's maybe just slightly like a meadow in one or two little areas. The odd spot just needs a little weeding but otherwise this is a real little gem. Who ever designed the layout, and I would guess it was someone that wouldn't have commanded a huge fee, could certainly teach a fair few better known modern course architects a thing or two about strategic planning. I play off 8 and genuinely enjoyed playing here. I only came here because I was with a friend who is a beginner but I'm very glad that I bothered. I have no idea if the club have any rights to any adjacent land but if they could extend the course and stick with the same sensible and traditional design approach they could produce something of considerable calibre. As it is, it's already more than the sum of its parts.

Played at lunchtime today, lovely sunny weather, greens excellent, quite quick. Ground in between greens, very boggy underfoot. Lovely course for beginners and inters? Staff very friendly and helpful. Good coffee

Superb Par 30, 9 Hole course, set in wonderfull woodland. Some short par 3 holes are still challenging due to a few well placed trees & ditches. You wont find a better 9 hole course in the area. £7 weekdays Bargain!

Although played in the depths of winter and on temp tees, a nice little course of 6 par 3's and 3 par 4's. Greens slow but true, and whilst some very boggy ground indeed in places, quite a nice place to wile away a couple of hours

Nice 9 - some good-looking holes. Good fun to play and well-looked after. Helpful Pro as well.

Nice course well worth the £7 green fee, well looked after.
