Great course that welcomes visitors. Excellent condition in March 2003 compared to other local courses after the wet winter. I saw it described as the Gleneagles of the West of Scotland in a magazine several years ago - it is better than that and well worth a visit. The views over Glasgow and the hills beyond are stunning as well as a nice loch in the middle of the course. Every hole is different and the variety of shots required between tee and green are testing even for low handicap players. Well stocked Professional Shop with very reasonable prices.
I played this pleasant coarse many years ago with Andrew Wright a past captain and I must say while I,m on a good New Year for 2003 to him and his family and all in the club. The coarse was frozen as it probably is just now,temporary greens had holes the size of buckets and were too bobbly to bother with. The sceenery that day was stunning and just to walk the coarse and approach the warm club house frozen, was a delight. ian.{surrey}
One of the lesser known courses in Scotland which which can be rated among some of the best. An excellent test of golf with a varied test to each hole. Usually in good condition. Only one critisism that is concerning the entrance & exit to the course car park.
