4 reviews of Tillicoultry Golf Club
Play here in opens every year and this has to be one of the friendliest clubs around, from Commitee, Bar staff and members you always get a good welcome, looking forward to playing in open today. Nice track which is both challenging and always in good nick.
Tillicoultry GC is a Gem of a course. For all levels of golfer, it requires every shot in the book from uphill/downhill lies (7th and 8th) to long drives (5th) and accurate Tee shots at the 3rd and 6th. Although only a 9-holer (played twice!) it is certainly NOT a pushover. As for the greens, the course -like most- tends to progress as the season wears on and normally reaches its peak in late May/early June until well into November. All-in-all a delightful course, beautiful setting and extremely friendly to boot!!
I'm proud to be a member of this course. Other local courses should take note of how good our greens are. I agree with Andy, we are in Clackmannanshire not Stirling.
A very nice course at the foot of the Ochils.\r\nResidents will be surprised to find however, that it has been moved to Stirlingshire - since it is in the middle of Clackmannanshire!!
