Fantastic course. Every hole has elevation changes and doglegs, with a bit of water thrown in for good measure. Conditions were very good. There are not too many trees around so you can open your shoulders and let rip, but as always, steady down the middle brings its rewards. The course seem a litle 'over-bunkered'. There are not enough buggies which caused issues. i walked with an electric trolley which was fine, but there are some steep inclines. I loved it. Would definitely play there again.

I've played here many times and most recently last week ( June 2013 ). A fine course with plenty of callenging holes, particularly the fourth, a downhill par 5.Very good condition and good true greens. The only downside being the surly staff, particularly the woman who dealt with us in the pro shop.Shame as it takes the shine off the experience.( Gramacho, its sister course was a complete contrast as we played it the same day and were offered a considerable discount without asking )

Played Pinta in Nov 06 and again in July 07. Walked the course easily in Nov but was glad of a buggy in July (excellent twilight offer in summer). The clubhouse is fully open at the 1st tee and the building work around the course seems more or less complete. Loved the course and will definitely play it again.

Played in sweltering heat in Jan '05. Very unseasonal, very lucky! Greens as fast as I've ever played. My yips were hovering in the background! Check in still at Gramacho (until club house is built I believe, which the founds' were just going in) although we turned up at the buggy hire and were radio checked in! Lost my sand wedge somewhere between my last game and the 4th hole but was brought another by the course marshal who zig zagged back over the holes I'd played. Great test, great holes, great day. Hope to return sometime but lots more courses to try.

An interesting and enjoyable course. However be warned that there is quite a lot of building work going on around the course. Although one advantage is that some large areas are classified as ground under repair as a result.

A very interesting and challenging course with no two holes alike. Some building work undergoing on some of the holes but even this did not detract from the enjoyment our whole group got from this course. This is a definite revisit next year.

Very quick greens, maybe faster than anything you've ever played, including the American west coast. The par 3's need correct club and positive thinking to save you from a sandy fate. All the par 5's, except the 18th, are a birdie chance. The 18th is 600 yards where anything straight & long is needed. Please note that when I played the check-in for Pinta was at the Gramacho club house with a 5 minute car drive to Pinta hole 1.

Nice course, and in good condition, but hard, hard work. Very hilly, and long walks between greens and tees are commonplace - I suppose a cart would be a sensible option but frankly I'd almost rather not play golf than ride around. Much development going on round the complex at the moment, and the distance from the clubhouse/reception/proshop (the last is rubbish BTW) means that the only facility available to you immediately you finish your round is a little shack. Unfortunate. We played here, at Alto, and at Palmares in the same week; I preferred Pinta to Alto, but Palmares was way out in front of both.

In my opinion this is the best course in the Algarve. As soon as i had finished my round i wanted to play it again ! Every hole has character, the condition was fantastic (although we had heavy rain all week) and off the black tees it would be the ultimate challenge. If you don't play this course you really have missed out !!

we played the pinta course june 2001,although along distance from booking in at reception to the first tee,it is well worth the journey. a fine course ,with excellant greens and some testing par fours off the white tees. make pinta a must if you play on the algarve. a.t.b gary stuart&martyn bristol.

With the excepion of Villamoura Old, this is without doubt the best course in the Algarve. Lots of variety and excellent condition. Clubhouse arrangements need sorting out!

Excellent course and pretty good value. Summer special of Esc15,000 for 2 including buggy. The 1st tee is 5 mins away from the main clubhouse so leave plenty of time to get organised. A shortish course so if you are playing decently I suggest playing off the whites. In July 2000 we played twice and the only disappointing aspect was that there were 3 temporary greens in action. Otherwise the course is well maintained and the greens ran true. Do not eat in the clubhouse however. The hamburgers were dreadful accompanied by half a dozen fries!
