Super course with excellent greens. Made very welcome by members and staff alike - not the toughest or longest challenge but an interesting and varied one nevertheless. Even though there had been a lot of rain prior to our visit the course was well presented and great fun. Course combines some level holes around the start and finish and some great holes in the middle with large elevation changes. Great value when compared to its supposedly more illustrious neighbour at Isle of Purbeck
31-8-07 Played the course on a very quiet Friday. Staff and members very friendly and helpful. Course in great condition,Greens superb. Used 2 fore 1 voucher,£18 for day ticket. Well worth a visit.Exellent. Mr A K Fraser.
Holes 1-8 and 16-18 are heathland/woodland. In places it gets rather tight off the tee where a fairway wood is probably a more sensible option than a driver. Holes 9-15 have a more open heathland/parkland feel with a bit more space to open up the shoulders with the driver. A well maintained course that provides an interesting test of golf.
