Westonbirt Golf Course

Played on this course twice, and if you are trying to get a handycap this course is great for practicing. Lots of trees and the locals are friendly. The greens are inproving and they are having a watering system fitted so they should get better. MH

This is an ideal course for beginners and high handicap players. It makes no pretentions to be anything else. There are no hazzards, and the fairways are mainly wide,open and very forgiving. There are no facilities on course and the greens are poor. But it is a very nice environment in the Gloucestershire countryside. Just turn up and play. Can get very crowded at weekends with players of all abilities. MSA
