This is a cracking little course its well laid out and looked after. Don’t let the size put you off, there’s plenty of water hazards, a few well placed bunkers/trees, and some very narrow fairways. Layout also helps the more accurate hitter, so you can expect to pick up a few shots if your playing partner is a bit of a blaster. The course is also quite deceptive, it doesn’t feel as small as the yardage given due to its hilly lay out, having said that, walking the coarse should still be quite manageable for those less able. There’s a very friendly atmosphere on course, a well-stocked clubhouse with covered driving range and separate bunker / putting area. As with most courses it can get a bit crowded at peak times and due to its size its always best to duck whenever you hear anyone shout fore. Overall this is probably not a course that would appeal to golf snobs as only nine holes and it is very short, for those of us however who simply enjoy the game and for beginners, its great fun and at eleven quid for an all day ticket it’s a bit of a bargain.
