8 reviews of Broadway Golf Club

This is a great fun course, golf enjoyment at it's best. 4 drivable par 4's and 3 reachable par 5's and some very testing long par 4's, a drop hole par 3 and one of the most deadly 125 yarder's you will find anywhere, it's got everything. Brilliant green keeping, very fast greens. Superb food, friendly staff and members. I'm sure the Director's of the club must have tried this, but when I go there I always start my round from the 10th, this leaves one of the best finishes in golf until the last few holes, the short 8th becomes a great 17th and and the views from 5,6,7 will distract when tired, just as you get to the part of the course when you need your best game. Broadway is a course that golfer's always want to return to.

What a cracking course tough but very enjoyable.Got something for everyone, I dont think there is an easy hole on the course,if the fairway, trees dont get you the subtle borrows on the greens will. And the welcome in the clubhouse was also tremendous the members are a good bunch and are rightly proud of their club.If I didnt live so far away from it I would have my name on thge waiting list.

Finally got to play the full 18 holes at a superb event sponsored by BUPA. The first 9 and second 9 could not be more different with the latter being a more open parkland style. Despite being on the top of an escarpment the course was in pristine conditions. For the end of June most places are begining to show signs of drought on the fairways. Not at broadway, everything was lush and green. I felt that this course had something for everyone, topped off by a very friendly club house, and tasty food. It's just a pity the waiting list is 6 years.

Played the course in early August, but got washed out after 9 holes. Driving accuracy will be rewarded here since even the par 4's seem long and anything off line will result in a good recovery shot being required. Once off the ridge top, the course has some interesting ravines and blind shots. Not unlike a coastal course. The 8th in particular requires a shot onto the green, anywhere else is lost! The 7th also tempts you to let it rip where laying up halfway would be a more prudent approach. Club house is new and well appointed. Welcome warm, although the £30 fee seemed a little steep.

Set high above the town of Broadway, this is one of the finest courses in the Cotswold. Imaculately maintained, it provides a test of skill for those who like a real challenge. It's not long but good club selection and accuracy from the tee will be rewarded with a respectable score. The view from the 5th is stunning. Attractive clubhouse - and a warm, courteous welcome from the staff greeted our small society. This is what the traditionalists like about the game of golf.

We played this course on a day when most other clubs were closed because of severe storms and flooding. The fairways were almost bone dry as the course is set on limestone. The greens, tees and fairways were in excellent condition and there was plenty of variety in the holes. The club is set on the top of Broadway hill with stunning views over Evesham and Worcester. Several holes ran along the edge of the ridge making accurate driving a necessity as the ball could literally disappear over the edge - almost like playing a cliff top course. Everyone in the club - from the professional to the restaurant staff was incredibly friendly and the toasted sandwiches were delicious and very good value. We will certainly play Broadway again - but hope to avoid the gale force winds next time!

Despite living in Liverpool, my brother Jon and I have been lucky enough to play this course many times over the years and have grown to adore it. The 5th is a special favourite and the course as a hole is superb. The site of my only level par round and the incredible scenery adds to the drama of the battle. An awesome place. I played this golf course on 08/07/01. It is one of the most enjoyable rounds of golf I have experienced in the UK. The views over the Cotswolds are superb. The course is a reasonable test and is in outstanding condition. The 15th is a superb test for a golfer of any standard. The club and staff were very friendly.
