Played the course on Sunday for the first time. What a treat! It was in great condition compared to others I have played in the area, especially the greens. Particularly enjoyed the McKenzie greens and the par 3 tenth. They also have offers on green fees if you play after 2.30. Will definately bring a couple of mates back. Jim Smith

played today under the half price offer £28 for adult and junior. decent course Hilly but as previously stated most holes needed some thought. For any newcomer when you stand on the third tee. the post down the fairway is actually the marker for those on the 4th tee-players need to be 50 yards to the right of that !!!!!!!!!!!!!1 the greens were in good condition but one or two fairways looked a bit worse for wear in places through diverts not being replaced. enjoyed the experience on the whole and will return in due course

First ever round here although its only a couple of miles from home. I really enjoyed it. A good mix of long & short par 4's'. A really well thought out course, meaning every shot has to be measured. Fairways & greens were immaculate. Helpful staff and will certainly will be visiting this course again.

I've played here lots of times and always found it quite pleasant (no doubt helped by the fact that I always seem to play well here for some reason). The greens always seem in good nick but the bunkers and tees can be a bit hit and miss. I wouldn't say it is a short course like one other reviewer, there are a couple of short holes which are very easy (such as the 90 yard 17th) but the overall length is reasonable. For some reason though, nearly every player I know off 5 handicap or less avoids playing here but I am not sure why.

Played this course in September 2003 What an excellent find. Will certainly play again. The way this course sets up is great. I place it in the top 10 of courses I have played. Well recommend.

short but very demanding course, you have to be straight or you are in trouble.good freindly club house, but watch out for the local, tear aways on the 9th as they will nick your ball
