Had a fabulous day today. The course is in great condition and worth every penny of the green fee. The members were very friendly but competitive. Will certainly plat there again as often as I can!

Great Greenkeeping, course amazing condition. Course design a bit samey, pity really, lovely location, just needs a bit of an update, give the design a bit of a kick. Each hole is quite nice, nothing really wrong with them, but nothing really happens once you get to the green, all a bit flat. Check out Lilley Brook green surroundings next door and that is what you should be aiming for. Good value on the County Card but a overpriced normal green fee.

Lovely setting in the Cotswolds, the clubhouse is built from Cotswold stone and looks great. The course is very much a parkland variety, lots of trees, although open enough on the hillier parts for the wind to play a part. The greens here are super-rapid, probably the best aspect of the course. I particularly liked the par 5 16th, a real monster! This is one of the best courses in the area and we thoroughly enjoyed our day here, despite the wet weather.

I was looking forward to playing this course - the first full game of golf I ever played was over the Club's course at Cleeve Hill - before they moved to the present site. The current course is a good course but I was disappointed, Whereas the old course on Cleeve Hill was almsot links like at times, especially when the wind blew, with holes that blended into the natural contours, encouraging links type shots, the new layout is pure parkland. It's not long but it felt longer than it is. Very bland compared with what went before. Why don't the Club move back to Cleeve Hill. That was great.

Excellent test for golfers of all abilities, very good greens, some long par 4s, 16th hole over 600 yards. Fine views. No steep hills. Considered one of the best tests of golf in Gloucestershire.
