We played Keighley on May Bank Holiday and with the previous few days having been very wet the course wasn't in the best of condition. The greens were bumpy and the course looked slightly tatty but this could be because of the bad weather of the previous week. The track was entertaining and our group did enjoy it. The staff were friendly. I would like to play this course again in summer in better conditions.

We played Keighley GC today 4th August 2014 & the course is in pristine condition, manicured fairways & the greens were absolutely top class. we had a fantastic round, the assistant pro Will was really accomadting & the friendly bar staff made it a really enjoyable day. I would highly recommend playing as the course is in impeccable condition & is a good test of golf.

Having played Keighley on a couple of occassions, I have to say I'd have no hesitation in returning to play again in the future. The track itself offers a good challenge to handicappers of all levels, with what I consider a mixture of "friendly" holes and more difficult holes making up a well thought out course. To put it into perspective, there are only a couple of par5s on the track, both measuring under 500 yards. But there are also a couple of long par4s weighing in at around 470 yards, and the long par 3 sixteenth, into the wind when I've played, at 210 yards. With the use of well planted trees down the years, a number of doglegs come into the equation too, making for a more thoughtful round of golf. The greens on my first visit were suffering from the dreaded fusarium, quite badly on some greens, but I was pleased to see on my second visit that this had been overcome and the greens were in very good condition. Off course the facilities are fine. Catering was pretty good, the club shop well stocked and the pro very helpful. Changing facilities were adequate, though they were due a lick of paint on my last visit. Well worth a trip all round though.

A real cracker jack of a course. Very interesting, very well laid out and very well maintained. A pleasure to play. the firways are like walking ona quality carpet and the greens are very well maintaine and receptive to incoming shots. It is not difficult to put together a good score here, but having said that some fairways are quite narrow demanding a good level of accuracy. Check out the time limitations for 241 vouchers, for a good bargain.
