.......Played on the 21st July 2010 Course - Excellent condition throughout, the greens were in top condition with the only downside being that they weren't the most receptive. You tended to have to drop the ball just short and run on as opposed to firing the ball at the pin. The course is mature so plenty of tree lined fairways and the fairways were in very good condition and a good cut of semi rough before the tress. Not much heavy rough but the numerous large trees would cause enough troble if you found yourself amongst them. At £21 for a day ticket using the 2-4-1 scheme was very reasonable too. Off Course - Members were polite and the course staff were friendly and helpful. The Pro in the shop was friendly and the shop was well stocked. Bar was good and the lunch was excellent both in value and quality. 1 major point of note large chips on the menu would be sufficient to feed 4 adults, 1 of our group requested large chips for himself and this resulted in the largest dish of chips known to man being placed upon his table!!! Value - As previuosly mentioned very very reasonable at £21 for the day ticket. Overall - A most enjoyable day as most golf days are, I would highly recommend the course to all players

I have played this course on numerous occasions and am always keen to return. I feel the course is in great condition all year round and has a fine balance in respect to the difficulty of the course. I play in a society and would definately recommend it to other societies. The staff are courteous and helpful and endeavour to make your golfing experience a satisfying one.

I play this course with a memeber - so its great value! Good quality golf course with a range of holes: a reachable par five, a few tough long straight fours and the sixtenth hole, which is one of the best par fours I have played. Of particular note are the bumnkers; you may not want to go in them but when you are in there you will find them to best the best conditioned ones you have played out of.
