I thought I would post a review as it seems there hasn't been any for 3 years. Ravenmeadow has matured into a lovely golf course. The brook running through it makes some really good challenges. Its quite generous off the tee and the rough isn't very long so high handicappers and new golfers can get round it ok. I played 2 days ago and the condition was very good, greens good, fairways nicely striped. Really enjoyed it and great value. The centre has a big shop with a new indoor launch monitor, well worth a visit looking for some kit

Of late, during the autumn, the course has been in terrible condition. The greens are unkempt; the tees are all divoted and the general layout is untidy. I regret, I shall be using Ombersley far more and the chances of returning to "The Raven" are nil.

I have played Ravenmeadow literally hundreds of times, mainly out of sheer convenience, and there is no denying it is good fun. I do have some major major gripes with the course and set-up. Firstly, you can book tee times, but they do not enforce them, which defeats the point, i have had a time booked and walked to the tee to have 3 unbooked groups beat me to it!! Secondly, of late the tees have been in very poor condition, the least i expect of a golf course is that to tee off i will be standing on a level tee, quite often the ball is quite noticeably above or below your feet. A kind of third point is that the greens are not the best in the world. A final gripe is that due to there only being ten holes there can be massive backlogs of players when those on the back nine catch up, in essence there becomes twice as many players playing the same holes. However it may seem that i hate nthe course, which i do not, it is porbably the best value for money course in the locale,a nd is fairly easy to get onto without it being stupidly. It is also good fun and relatively easy to shoot late thirties to really boost your confidence, and bragging rights. Overall, generally an ok course worth playing at.

Very nice course to play, always in good condition and always feels as if you are the only people out there. Would definitely recommend for a realxed round of golf.

This is a fairly gentle 9/10 hole course with few surprises but is generally well looked after and very friendly. It is quite easy if you are straight off the tea although some of the greens have Augusta style slopes. If you are in the Worcester area and have a couple of hours to spare then this course will happily fill your time. The practise facilities are excellent with a good size putting green, chipping area, bunker and range to work on that all important short game. £11 may seem a little pricey for 9 fairly ordinary holes but I would happily return if I just wanted a gentle work out.

i play ravensmeadow nearly once a fortnight and i have to say if you want to go somewhere to learn the game you would have to go here.all tho not a hard course ravensmeadow offers beginners the chance to adapt to every single shot in the book.the course itself contains long straight holes, short par 3s and then dogleft holes with wide fairways.but just because there are wide fairways do not be fooled into thinking you wont get into trouble there are ponds lakes and trees to get by as the long par5 hole gives you all 3 at once.highly reccomend this course for learning your golf.

Nice is the definative word to use for Ravensmeadow. Very well facilitated club with driving range, pro shop, bar and all important course. Poses as a 18 hole but many holes are just replayed from different tees. This helps as a new visitor though as there are many dog legs and hidden greens. When playing the back nine, course knowledge is very handy! Overall I enjoyed myself and really liked the wondering water feature throughout. Its only a narrow stream but it runs through the whole course and can make you think some times. Generally well kept and suprisingly quiet over a weekend. Lots of tee times always available.
