Very pleasant course in a very secluded and peacefull area of Leeds. had been wanting to play for a while as my friends a member. Course takes water very well and fairways are very good for the area. Enough of a challenge to keep the best golfers on their toes. Definately a mature parkland feel. Back nine is particularly imprseeive with very nice lake/waterfall before one green and good risk reward holes. Left with a doubly nice feeling as birdied the last to beat my mate too!!! Would very happily play again.

Played the course today (week of The Open) and found it in excellent condition. Greens have never been better and the tees and fairways were great. The green keepers have clearly done an excellent job taking care of this easy-walking parkland layout. Only drawbacks were the surly bar/catering staff who seemed peeved when we asked for sandwiches at lunchtime. Also sarcastic members are thrown in with the green fee (despite my group finishing nearly 2 clear holes ahead of them) Very enjoyable round at an excellent venue.

NICE COURSE KEPT UPTO VERY WELL. THERE ARE NO WATER HAZARDS WHICH WOULD ADD TO THE PLAYABILITY OF THE COURSE. THE PRICE OF THE FOOD HAS GONE UP IN THE LAST 12 MONTHS AND THE QUALITY HAS GONE DOWN .

A parkland course with no water hazards. Not a hilly course. The club has no buggies but golf trollies are available for hire.A decent test of skills despite the course not being noted for extreme length.Visitors play from the yellow tees. Pleasant bar, sandwiches and bar meals available. Restaurant newly refurbished Spring 2000.Club Pro. Darren Tear.Visitors always enjoy the course and eager to return.
