Played Strathmore with 3 friends, this is a hidden gem it is excellent and a real test of golf, we will definitely be going back. I left my golf jacket in the buggy we hired and they very kindly posted it on to me at their expense, they would not accept any payment for postage, staff were very friendly, food was great we had breakfast & dinner everything was great, highly recommended by 4 retired guys who spend their summer months travelling around Scotland playing golf, you must play Strathmore.

Visited with a group of 12 on Sunday 24th June 2012. We all had a very enjoyable day and found the Rannelaroch course to be a good challenge. The condition of the course was excellent, despite recent heavy rain, and the greens superb. The Sunday carvery looked excellent, although we didn't partake, and the staff in both Pro Shop and Club House were very helpful and friendly. I'd happily recommend any visiting groups to include this track on their itinerary, Findlay McClymont, Ascot

An excellent facility which offers good value for money. The Rannaleroch course was in superb condition and is ideal for a golf outing as it caters for low and high handicap players. The greens, in particular, were in magnificent condition. The quality of the catering is of a very high standard which is further enhanced by the friendly welcome of all the staff. Our party of 18, whose handicaps range from 4 to 28 all had a very enjoyable day at Strathmore and we will be returning in the near future for another golfing trip.

First time playing golf in scotland and it won,t be the last.It was pure luck that we came across Strathmore Golf Culb and we will be coming back next year.Played the coarse on 21/10/99.We had a warm welcome from the staff on the morning we arrived, then played the back nine holes before having lunch in the club house, staff in the club house were very kind and helpful.Played 18 holes in afternoon, the coarse was in great shape for this time of year, fairways nice and wide with some tricky greens to think over.Definitely worth a visit.
