Played this course a few years back and was impressed, played there in June 15 and was very disappointed. My main gripe was the tee booxes, uneven and bare, whilst the bunkers were rock hard and require significant investment to get them back up to scratch. Clearly they're not on the greenkeepers priority list. The rest of the course isn't bad, good fairways and greens, some tricky holes, spectacular views of London from some of the holes if that ticks your box but other than that its an 'ok' course, not going to be rushing back lets put it that way.

I have been a member at Warley for the past 8 years and without fail the course gets better every year - and whilst it may have been true a few years ago that the greens were a bit challenging if you didnt know them like the back of your hand this is less relevant today. For example the 6th Green was re-modeled 2 years ago to improve its contours and I believe that the irrigation system was updated around the same time to ensure the consistency of the greens in even the driest conditions. I would certainly advise coming back to the course if you have not played it recently and form your own opinion.

Recently played on the course, nice venue and fairways okay condition. The Greens however are unplayable for a social round so very short and firm for March! very difficult to hold and to putt on. Can hit the front of the green on approach and will run through the back, number of the pin placements make putting crazy in that if you miss the hole from 6 feet it can run 20ft off the green - all that was needed was a windmill in the middle!! wouldn't rush back.

Friday 17 Aug society day. Great value of bacon roll, coffee, 9 holes, buffet lunch, 18 holes and 3 course dinner for £ 60. Food was of a fantastic quality. The good thing was that in this format we got to enjoy all 27 holes, which give a very varied playing experience. Our first 9 holes, 10 - 18 is the shortest of the three and in my opinion the lesser of the three as there were no real memorable holes compared to the other 18. Loop 1 and 3 are all fairly forgiving with a pretty open course. Highlights are the 7th with a drive over the large lake, the 24th which is the hardest hole, for good reason and then finally the 27th which is a par 3, down the hill, trying to land the ball on the green in front of the clubhouse. This was the second time I played the course in a week and have to say the most challenging greens I have played this year. As comments say, impossible to hold the green, which is a shame, but found putting very tough, there were many 3 putts throughout the society. Final 9 holes are hilly, but you do get fantastic views, spotting Canary Wharf and the London Eye way in the distance. The condition is fantastic, though bunkers could have been raked prior to us starting as rain had packed the sand. But all in all the staff are very welcoming amd definitely a great society venue.

Played the course recently it is fantastic condition, fairways look and play superb.. Played course one first then played course no 3, which is fairly hilly which would explain why there was very few other people playing it.

Played today with a society in horrible conditions after a period of heavy rain. Course was holding up very well and was not at all boggy. What made the day was the attitude of the staff who were excellent without exception. Although the changing room facilities are a little dated would definitely recommend it.

Pleasant course, played twice this year and on the whole it's in good condition. The comments on the pace of the greens is still very accurate. You can find yourself running out the back all too often when at any other time it would have been a great shot. Still, well worth a visit as it's one of the more scenic and hilly courses around this area. Challenging in places but not dull

A relatively easy course. Very open allowing you to blaze away with the driver without fear of finding trouble. The fairways are incredibly bare and the course is in need of water which is surprising for late October. Difficult to tell the rough from the fairway half the time and this makes the course look scruffy in places. On occasions left with the impossible task of trying to hold the ball on the green. And it is impossible. On the plus side there are several nice looking holes but due to the lack of grass the majority of holes lack direction. Average.

have played this course a number of times, and this year very disapointed greens not holding having to chip and run from some 150yds out, from hole one hit a good drive a sweet sand iron ball hit the green and bounced just as high again and putting a nitemare wrong place on the green and a 3 putt awaits you
