2 reviews of Oceanico Victoria Golf Club
A very impressive set up, however our party found the course unnecessarily tough and somewhat overpriced (albeit this could be argued for most courses in the area). Accepted we played only a week after the Portugal Masters, and one can only assume it was still set up for the Masters, but playing the course off tees measuring over 7,000 metres, with rough in which you either lost your ball or couldn't move it when only a foot or two off the greens mean't we all felt both the experience and 180 euro's green fee was not the most rewarding time we had ever had on a golf course. One to avoid unless your party are all very competent golfers or perhaps the club puts amateur golfers out off more realistic tees and cuts the rough.
this was the third leg of our tour an by far the best,I would advice anybody on a package tour to drop one of the lesser courses an include this track for an extra 30 pound [approx], its a must, the back nine is one of the best I have ever played, although the mid to high handicaper may find it difficult all of our party {16} thought it was the highlight of our trip.
