6 reviews of Rodway Hill Golf Course

Played this course on the 6/10/07,payed £17 for a saturday which is value for money. The course is quite open so it"s forgiving on of straight tee shots, the greens are slightly elevated as you would expect on a fairly flat course, but are in fairly good condition. There"s a couple of par 4"s on the back nine that test your oxygen levels, but all in all I found it a fair test of golf that rewarded good shots, and the bar in the 19th several alcohol at a very good price and it had a plasma TV with sky sports, anyway for this price and the course itself I would recommend anyone to at least try it once.

what a mixed bag first 3 holes you hope the rest of the cource isnt as open and as easy and its not some quite tricky holes and a real test for the moderate handicap, this course really suits new players and beginers looking for some confidence on a full 18 hole course but also proves a challeng for more experienced players with a lower handicap. Give it a try on a nice day its well worth it and very reasonable for those on a budget.

A lot of fun for the higher handicapper. A group of twenty odd round in about four hours makes this a course worth returning to.Friendly staff and a good pint of the black stuff in the clubhouse. Facilities for changing could do with improving though.

This course gives you the feeling at the start that it is easy nothing could be further than the truth, a tricky up and down course and some very challeging holes. The Crows Nest par3 164 yrds up hill and a 201 yrd par3 on the back 9 not to mention the Stroke index 1 12th Buzzard 423 yrds all up hill. And the new Club House is great brilliant food and a very warm welcome. Give it a go you wont be disapionted.

Extremely friendly staff run this well conditioned golf course which is excellant value for money. The course is very open so is quite useful for beginners and anyone wanting to work on their swing, but also provides a stern test for seasoned players. All the par 5's provide you with a birdie chance, but the par 4 12th is a real test uphill and by the time you've caught your breath you do it all again on the 14th. Fairways and greens are in great condition and i hope it continues like this whilst the course is maturing.

The staff were very nice but i played in the winter and they need to improve the drainage. The course isn't very challenging as there are not many trees or obsticales. In a few years i think this course will be quite nice.
