Chorleywood Golf Club Ltd.

This is a gem of a 9 hole course which runs through the beautiful Chorleywood Common. The course is short in length but demands accuracy as fairways are narrow and greens are small. 1st hole is fairly open but beware the pond about 180 yards away on the right of the fairway as its not visible from the tee. It's a flat parkland layout so suitable for elder players ( most of the members appear to be getting on in years!). Fairways are lined by birch and ash trees and you may well spot a red kite overhead. Par 68 with only one par 5 but three really good par 3's which need a good strike to find the green. The course has no sand bunkers but hollows around many greens which act as a kind of " grass bunker". Public have equal right of access to the common, so you may need to be patient and let the odd dog walker move out of range as their are a few paths crossing the course.
