Played the High (main) course and it's a delight. Just short of 7000 yards off the back tees, the condition is superb.not one easy hole.a few very tight drives that can find a lot of trouble. Great value for £45 with a county card. Treat yourself to one of the best courses i the south east.

I played here as part of the London Amateur Foursomes and found the courses to be in excellent condition. The clubhouse is very impressive and found the staff and members to be very welcoming. The West is a little 'fiddly' with lots of par-3s and only one par-5 but is very enjoyable. The Higher has some significant elevation changes which make for impressive drives and approaches. The courses were designed by Colt so many of the bunkering etc is familiar to what you would normally see at his other creations. Well worth a game and well recommended.

Have played both the High & West courses both good courses. The High shorter & tighter. The West longer and in my opinion better overall - long & tough off the Whites. Again another quality Hertfordshire Course, this one is a cut above the pack, is it worth the extra money? Just about - treat yourself.

I played the high course in March 2009. Fairways were looking fairly stressed with poor grass growth, but the greens were perfection - fast and true. The course was a fair test of a poor golfer - penalised my mistakes but rewarded my good shots. The highlight was the clubhouse - I have never sen a more impressive golf club house building. Carvery lunch was good as was the soup and ginger beer.

Moor Park is a fantastic brace of courses with the High providing a lovely mix of holes with the 8-15 stretch as a particular highlight. The scenary and condition is first rate and everything about the course oozes class. The west is shorter and very different in feel but the same conditioning dictates that you never fail to enjoy the game. The closing stretch provides wonderful views of what is a simply spectacular club house. Moor Park is the best club within the M25.

I played this course in May 2008 on a corporate golf day, we played the High Course which I was very impressed with, course was in good condition, there were some excellent holes. The most impressive thing about the day from a visitors point of view was the clubhouse, it's absolutely amazing, I've never seen a clubhouse like it. The course overall was not the most challenging I've ever played but wasn't easy either, greens were true however I'm not sure £80 for a round in the week is good value compared to other courses I've seen at a similar standard, maybe it's to raise funds to maintain the clubhouse. Overall a great day good course, superb clubhouse I was just glad it was a golf day not an £80 round.

I totally disagree with the last note on moor park golf club, it is a well maintained golf course and the clubhouse is simply spectacular. The members there are very friendly. over all this club has to be one of the best clubs in england, but the price of £60 to play the high course is a little high but is well worth it. I would recommend the course strongly to anyone.

Played the front 9 on the West and 18 on the high course. Both were in very good condition but we thought the greens were a bit better on the west course. The high course starts off quite flat but that all changes at the 11th with my favourite 2 holes on the course (11 and 12). The 2nd and 8th were also very good holes. The 18th was a very tricky finishing hole. Good thing about the course is that looking for balls is hardly required since the rough is kept to sensible levels. We thought £60 for a round though was more of a deterant than anything since the course is good but not that good.

I have to disagree with the previous comments on this course. Perhaps it has been re-vamped since the comments were posted but I have played both courses and found it an excellent day out. The high course was in superb condition as was the west and led to the best round I'd ever had so perhaps I'm biased. I would say that the greens on the high course were like contrete and it was rather difficult to get your ball to stop on the greens. However the consition of the fairways and rough was first class, the setting is superb and the clubhouse facilities are very good so therefore I would recommend it to anyone.

I agree, this isnt all it is talked up to be. The condition and layout of the high course was very average. There are many courses better than this. On a high note the clubhouse is simply spectacular.

Played the High Course which comes with a big reputation, but failed to deliver. The tees and fairways are good, but the greens were in poor condition considering the good weather we've had recently. And we were told by the caddy master that a ladies foursome behind us had priority so we (2-ball) had to let them through.... Poor value for money at £60 a round - there are better and more friendly clubs for a lot less money around.
