Having played on Captains Day Saturday 9th July, the course proved to be in exceptionally good condition. The evening event was most enjoyable, although sadly not many new members of the club were present. The small number of players taking part was disapointing and it is to be hoped that more members will support these competitions in future. The team spirit which these events promote and the friendly atmoshpere whilst playing with new, regular and occasional golfers enhances the pleasure of the game for all.
