Skipton Golf Club Ltd

a party of 8 from Burnley golf club played September 2011 in a seniors open team event. the organisation was terrific, well staffed pleasant people and super efficient. Not sure that joining the two's sweep was a good idea though.. not easy on the day(blustery and wet!)to hit the greens in 1!.. but never the less a challenge to say the least. The course was very well presented, the fairways and greens being well defined to give the look of a "wanting to play each hole". looking forward to playing in the Open Mixed team event today(17/09/2011) I can easily recommend the course not least for its challenging par 5's and a tricky finish.. 17th and eighteen appear to be a regulation finish to your round..! but do not underestimate 17th in particular! in summary a great day out for anyone who loves a challenge without being completely physically overwhelmed.

played open team event last week , course was fantastic. greens were fast but the most receptive ive played this year.a great test of golf especially the feature holes on the back 9 over the river. hope to go back soon, an outstanding course.

Skipton Golf Club is a really nice place, the setting is beautiful and the course is fantastic. I played here on the 26/7/04 for the day and it was the best day out ive had in a long time. The course was very well maintained the green staff were cutting the course the day we were there and they took there time cutting each green, tee, fairway to the best of there ability. I would rate this course 10/10. Its cheap day out and course is in great condition and the members are really friendly what more can you ask for.
