Decent course, but nothing special. Quite a boring layout , and quite short. Our round was upset by an overly officious member who kept his eye on us the whole round, insisting we play off the yellow tees, most of which were in front of the ladies tees! What made it worse was the members were all teeing off the whites! I always thought when you paid a green fee you were a member for the day, and should be allowed to tee off the same tees as the members. Why on earth do some clubs insist on guests teeing off yellows only? if they're good enough to play the course, they're good enough to play the same tees as the members. We won't ever return here.
A well presented mature parkland course, the greens were fast and true. All in our society were impressed by the warm friendly setup at this club and look forward to our next society day here; a truly worthwhile experience!!!!!
An attractive course with some very good holes. Mature and well-presented, although the course was experiencing difficulties with the greens at the time of our visit (May 2001). Also very friendful and helpful staff. Definitely wortha visit.
