Neath Golf Club

Played here October ,2015 . (£16 on a Monday) Excellent & enjoyable not widely known course that has an air of quality about it. It's very high up & has great vistas & fantastic extensive views .It also feels very peaceful. Attractive & pretty with pines & firs lining fairways it's a lovely place to play golf.It also has the added quality of a James Braid design . Conditioning was to a high standard with excellent greens. I would say that this course makes you deliberate with your' shots more than normal particularly with approaches & on & around the greens where you have to be super precise . Pro shop very welcoming to visitors . The course tailed off a bit on the last 3 holes but all in all this was superb value on the above rate for a course of this standing . Kevin B.

Played Neath as part of our South Wales Tour 2010. What a great course. A typical Braid track, a southern example of Alloa or Forfar. Excellent use of the terrain available, and again like Alloa, has a very tough finish, 15 through 18. Played on a twilight rate after 3pm of £15, and this has to be one of the best deals around. Pro, bar staff (what a chicken curry) and members all very friendly. No hesitation in returning.
