Played with my Brother and close friend and enjoyed it. A short course in very good condition, there were some long walks between green's and tee's but we did not feel to weary after the game. The greens and fairways were great and it was a real bargain for £20.
What a little gem of a seaside course, especially holes 2-12, which mostly face out onto the sea. Not very long, but taxing par 3s, if not on top of your game. Greens very good, some rough not to go into! Playing and scoring well means an accurate second shot into the green, which will be rewarded. When a duffer can get a birdie, imagine the delight! Not too expensive either and gracious members and bar staff. Warm and sunny day in late July - not many better places to play relaxing golf.
Very welcoming course.Eight par threes so it is not too difficult.Greens are very good, considering the time of year. Excellent views over the sea.Played on a really calm day in January 2012 and achieved my best score ever-75.Will go again!
Beautiful course kept in excellent condition. Not the hardest but very enjoyable!!! Great greens
i Think this course is fantastic with pleasent views and a relaxed course atmosphere. The people are great and the course plays fantastic all year round with some very tricky par 3's
the tees and the greens are fabulous and i would recomend this tremendous golf course to anyone who is wanting to play and the green fees are reasonable so come and see the golf course
Played the course at the end of June with a few friends the night before 36 holes at Princes. On a lovley warm calm sunny sunday evening, a joy to play. Whilst not too taxing, course in good condition with pleasent sea views. Split into 3 sections by railway line and road, some of the fairways too close to each other. I would imagine the course is very different when the wind blows.
I, together with my teenage son, spent six very enjoyable years playing during the summer school holidays. The friendly atmosphere found on the course extended to the pro shop and the secretary's office. A pleasant club that allows you to enjoy your golf.
With tight fairways and small greens this can be a very testing seaside course when the wind is blowing. On a calm evening in Summer good scores are much more likely as the course is not particularly long.
