Burton-on-Trent Golf Club

Turned up at Burton with a society, recieved a lovely reception from the pro shop and bar staff, clubhouse was welcoming, the course was not to my taste although the 18th was intresting losing a few in the water, the condition was ok although the greens were a little slow

Played there last week and is in a lovely setting however the greens appeared wolly and there were clipping all over the place, making it look unsightly. Intresting last hole and on a nice day must look a picture.

The most improved golf course i have played in the last two years.The greens are superb-even better than sherwood forest.The rest of the course is also in excellent condition.This course will be top of my must play list next year.

In my opinion the best course in Derbyshire at present. Played in the Derbyshire Alliance event in june and the course was in excellent condition. The greens were flawless and ran true and quick. Cracking test of golf would love to be a member there. I look forward to returning next year.
