Chose The Oaks golf club for a works day out. The day was a huge success. The course was in great condition especially the greens and was a test to us all. The staff were also very friendly and approachable. We look forward to our next visit.

Played here as a guest with a friend who is a member. This was the first time using the golf club. Staff were so nice, friendly and could not do more to accomodate. Fees were very reasonable and certainly a course which will challenge all categories of playing ability. Fairways were in good condition, bunkers were all covered with sand (always a plus), greens were overall pretty good and obviously receiving a lot of attention. This course is definitely going to test you as a golfer, I have to say I loved it and I certainly would recommend anyone to visit. Fabulous golf club inside with a nice bar. Great service.

Played the course at the beginning of March in good calm conditions. This was the first time i've played the course - good value on the discounted winter rate of £20, i would say given some of the other courses in the area, it is quite pricey on the full summer rate. Off course facilities are excellent - the course is part of a spa. Good practice facilities including a driving range. The course is a good layout and challenge, there is variety to the holes which given the location (its very flat) shows good design. Plenty of water on the course which can catch you out. The course was wet under foot but given the winter we've had this was not surprising on the course in general was in good condition.

A lovely entrance makes you think this is a nice course. And the clubhouse doesnt dissapoint. The fairways are very well looked after and are what fairways should be. The bunkers are honestly pointless. There are no lips or depth to them, so hitting a wood or hybrid out of a fairway bunker is no problem. The greens are exceptional, they are soft and very quick and undulating all making scoring tricky. The rough isnt very punishing, but OOB can be tight on some holes. For some reason, despite this course being flat, you feel quick tired and hot at the end. It seems as if you are in a pan. Nevertheless a lovely golf course maintained to very high standards. P.S- the academy is worth having a look. The head pro (Graham Walker) is top25 coach in the UK. He coaches Danny Willett who was English Amateur Champion and is now on the European Tour. He also is England Head Coach and under 21 assisstant coach and also a coach for Yorkshire. He is busy a lot so lessons are spread a lot. But the lessons are excellent, he has all the equipment and knowledge, he is very passionate and a fantastic coach. When I had one of my lessons I met Danny Willett which was very nice, getting to meet a pro golfer in person. Its worth a visit so please visit. Thank you

A tricky 18 hole golf course , lovely fairways all year round and exceptionaly good greens for the time of year . Well mentained with 5 lakes on the course one on the tenth to test that you drive the ball straight and far so that you dont go in the lake .
