This is a very interesting course - warning, if you walk the course, like we did first time out, you can have upto 200m between greens and tees as the course winds it's way through various housing developments close to Reine Sofia Airport. Enjoyable course, with some tough "don't miss the fairway or else" holes, others more generous and the signature hole being the 5th, a short par 3 across a sea inlet, where wind direction and strength will play havoc with club selection, and passers by on the shoreline path will watch tee shots, no doubt wishing to witness failures. Over the years we have seen the course in fine condition and other times they've missed the trick with the weather and it's been scorched, however, it's always been a pleasure to play.Nice pleasant atmosphere in the Clubhouse Bar.

This is a very nice and diversified course in south-west Tenerife, close to the airport. It's adjactent to Golf del Sur but difficult to find - no good signs on the streets! Winter greenfee is 82 €. The course twice goes down to the sea and up again and at the same time through a big residential area. This is more convenient than on other courses because the arrangement is quite spacy for most of the time. The last few holes go up into "open country" and back to the clubhouse again. Walking is well possible if it's not too hot. Many of the holes are very interesting, some due to water, some due to undulation. The overall condition is fine, good fairways and greens. The continuing construction works diminish the pleasure in a few places as well as air traffic to the nearby airport but only when you are directly underneath the corridor. The service was flawless - there is a restaurant, a pro shop and a bistro plus a smallish pitch&putt course and practicing facilities. I've heard some criticism on this course and this may contribute to the fact that there were only a few golfers. I cannot support the critics and the fact that nobody disturbed us through our round to the front and from behind added to my pleasure. It is one of my favourites for a second round.
